naturbar Posted November 13, 2009 #6 Posted November 13, 2009 SWEET..really light compared to my rsv....... specs say venture dry is 807lbs - rstd dry is 787lbs - only 20 lbs difference - i've easily added that to my rstd with fiberglass batwing, tour pak with bracket and other accessories. guess i need to move to a lighter rsv...lol but the rstd does feel lighter than it's advertised weight .
eazyduzzit Posted November 13, 2009 #7 Posted November 13, 2009 My RSTD feels really nimble once moving, but I can feel all 800 plus lbs. when backing it out of the garage in the morning.
BIG TOM Posted November 13, 2009 Author #8 Posted November 13, 2009 it doesn't feel as top heavy as my rsv..I liked it...wouldn't get rid of my venture, but it would make a sweet daily rider to work...slab ...30 miles one way...someone talk me out of this before I get into trouble soon...wait a minute here none of you guys are going to try to talk me out of this....someone tell taters I'm bike shopping again...that ought to do it...I hope !!
