I seen some pics on this site with bikes that had "what looked to be" highway pegs mounted on the floor boards. I would like to get some highway pegs for mine but I'm verticle challanges with a 30" inseam. Any advise would be helpful.

Thanks

Here is my 2 cents for what it's worth. I tried some that clamped to the floor boards but because of the heel shifter my foot was almost trapped in. I did'nt feel safe at all. I'll look for some that clamp to the engine guard in the spring.

I have the Kuryakyn pegs that mount on the crash bar and they work great, but I had to drill and tap them and the bar and install a stainless steel bolt. It just wasn't possible to get them tight enough to stop them from twisting on the bar if I applied too much foot pressure. This fix solved the problem and now I spend a lot more time with my feet up on the pegs than I do with them on the floorboards.:Venture:

Have you used them? This is kinda what I been lookin' for.

I have not used these - but with my short legs I feel these would wok best for me. When I simply place my boot heel in different positions on the existing floor boards _ i feel it is more comfortable than the engine guard peg

I have attached another option as well

I got these from jc whitney for $45 I'm thinking. They bolt to the crash bar nicely.
