Seat Question

I have an '06 Midnight Venture. It does not have the "pillow" seat. It has a "leather" Venture seat. Is my seat an optional seat, an upgrade or downgrade.??? I'm confused.

If it's the one with the studs, it's the standard seat on the Midnight for '06. They went to the pillow top in '07

If it truly is real leather, then it's probably the optional Corbin seat. Yamaha offered a leather "Dual Touring" seat that was made by Corbin.
