Aussie Annie Posted November 8, 2009 #1 Posted November 8, 2009 Okay, we have a young wipper-snapper of 16 riding a Venture now, ????? but how many women ride one??????? I'm the only one in Australia. And I did ride it two wheel before my accident (Quike now) So, do we have any in the U.S. or Canada
painterman67 Posted November 8, 2009 #2 Posted November 8, 2009 dont know if this counts Annie , but my wife rides just not on a venture. David
Bob Myers Posted November 8, 2009 #3 Posted November 8, 2009 Annie my wife rides too, also not on a Venture though
Riderduke Posted November 8, 2009 #4 Posted November 8, 2009 Here in Fredericksburg, VA. There is a lady who is in the SCRC with me and rides a Venture, her husband rides a Valkrie. As Spotsy can attest to this she rides it as well as most men do. I have mentioned in the past about joining Venture Riders but for some reason she doesn't want to. I think she lurks once and a while.
Kregerdoodle Posted November 8, 2009 #5 Posted November 8, 2009 hhhmmmm how about some Venture riders that ride like Women?? LOL, I`m just sayin....
Riderduke Posted November 8, 2009 #6 Posted November 8, 2009 hhhmmmm how about some Venture riders that ride like Women?? LOL, I`m just sayin.... Now thats funny:rotfl::crackup:
Yammer Dan Posted November 8, 2009 #7 Posted November 8, 2009 hhhmmmm how about some Venture riders that ride like Women?? LOL, I`m just sayin.... Things must be too peacefull around there for you.....
1 Canuck Posted November 8, 2009 #8 Posted November 8, 2009 My wife rides, but not the Venture. When sitting on my Venture, she has tried to get it off the side stand...not going to happen. I think it's because she is too short; she thinks that the bike is just too heavy. Likely a little of both?
BradT Posted November 9, 2009 #9 Posted November 9, 2009 Naugh-T rides a Virago, but she did ride my First gen once, and she was able to pick up the 2nd gen but not lately the kick stand is leaning a bit more lately and it makes it a bit harder to lift up. Brad
Gary N. Posted November 9, 2009 #10 Posted November 9, 2009 I know of a lady here in Ontario riding a Millennium RSV. Pat "Yamamom" Norris She joined this forum way back before the crash but I never saw her post and don't think she came back after the crash. http://on.northernstarsrider.ca/yamamom.html
sarges46 Posted November 9, 2009 #11 Posted November 9, 2009 Marilyn rides as well....RSV is too big for her...she can get it off the side stand but is seriously tippy toed. In a pinch she could get it home if I fell off and couldnt up again. She has a vstar right now and is looking at a newer bike in a couple of years.
BradT Posted November 9, 2009 #12 Posted November 9, 2009 I know of a lady here in Ontario riding a Millennium RSV. l Met her a few years back when she came over for one of Reiny's rides. There is also Wow Skunk from New York that we met in Toronto. Brad
Yammer Dan Posted November 9, 2009 #13 Posted November 9, 2009 Wow Skunk has a full dressed 750 Maxium in her basement I would like to have.
Aussie Annie Posted November 9, 2009 Author #14 Posted November 9, 2009 hhhmmmm how about some Venture riders that ride like Women?? LOL, I`m just sayin.... But that would be with a little more care and respect for the bike wouldn't it:rasberry:
