I have an 02 F150 4wd Lariat that has a leaking rear differential.

I need the torqe for the bolts.

And, the last time I changed the front calipers, I overtightend the lugs on one wheel and warped the rotor. So, I bought new rotors today and need the torque of the wheel lugs also. - I don't want to warp one again.

Of course I didn't think about calling a dealer this morning to get them and don't want to wait until Monday if I don't have to.

Can any of you help me out?

Thats a new one on me.

I have striped lugs and broke lugs in the past but it has never worped a rotor from over torguing the lugs. I have worped rotors in the past but that was from a hard stop,

doing 70 and had to lock it up that cost me 2 new rotors and 4 new tires.

To worp a rotor you need to over heat it in one spot or hit it with something.

while it is always good to torque the lugs to the correct value I have only ever had 1 trie shop use a torque wrench when I changed tires. I have had my wheels and others off more times then I can count and have run over 100 never had a problem. I you have worped rotors I would look for other problems a froze up calaber comes to mind.

Well I only got the differential taken care of today. Momma and I stayed in bed til NOON!

It was sooo nice not to get up early.

By the time we went out for lunch and got back all I had time for was the differential. It gets dark early now.

So, I'll have to wait til next w/e to do the rotors.

Thanks for the info,
