buddy Posted November 7, 2009 #1 Posted November 7, 2009 Some knew of Peg's Mom's passing and the extra bills that hits us hard, well it hit even harder this time around. I went to the doctor feeling I had the Flu or something but he said I was a walking dead man my blood pressure was out of this world so I was rushed to the E.R. and had a lot of tubes sticking in me. They finally got me back down, they did a lot test and said my heart was in good shape and my blood count seem to be OK?. They did not know why my blood pressure was so high? They was really scared about it? . Peg was not in good shape either just loosing her Mom and now she was worried about me passing. I have to go back next week for a follow up with my Doctor. I went back to work at Wal-mart (second job) to help with the added bills and my Doctor told me that was not a good thing. May have been the cause of me going down? With all this happening and the extra bills added on, I will need to sell my bikes:( to help Pay off bills untill then I'll have to work at Wal-mart untill things get better. ? or worse? So if you know anyone looking for a nice 2003 Venture or 2001 Gold Wing give me a PM . I still have a loan on each. God Bless Buddy
Kregerdoodle Posted November 7, 2009 #2 Posted November 7, 2009 Buddy, Sorry to hear of all the happenings, glad you are doing ok and pray that the Doc. has good news for you also. I wish you luck selling your bikes, it is to bad that they have to go, but things will turn around and there will be the opertunity to get another. All things happen for a reason, weather we feel that they are good for us or not, all of these are controled by some one much more powerfull then us, and he doesn`t make mistakes..Hang in there and take care of yourself and your Family, every thing else will fall into place.. Take care, Kreg
Yammer Dan Posted November 7, 2009 #3 Posted November 7, 2009 Buddy mine did that the night of my last wreck. They were more concerned with the blood pressure than they were with busted bones. Never did find out what caused it. I have never had high blood before. ???? Hope they figure yours out quick.
sarges46 Posted November 7, 2009 #4 Posted November 7, 2009 What a shame Buddy. We hope it all works out for the best. Health first then the toys. Not much sense having toys sitting around if you cant use them.

N3FOL Posted November 8, 2009 #10 Posted November 8, 2009 Wish you all the luck. Watch your salt intake and don't forget to do moderate exercises. Hope you also can sell your bikes soon. Regards.
Freebird Posted November 8, 2009 #11 Posted November 8, 2009 I agree with the salt and I think that it's one of the single most important things you can do for your blood pressure. I was on blood pressure medication when I was about 30 years old. I was raised in a family where you salted your food automatically, before even tasting to see if salt was needed. After being on the blood pressure medicine for a couple of years, I stopped using salt on anything. I don't worry about buying salt free foods and etc but I just never touch a salt shaker. It's a bit hard at first but soon enough, you don't miss the extra salt at all. Within a few months I was off the blood pressure meds and have never needed them again.
Condor Posted November 8, 2009 #12 Posted November 8, 2009 Stress will make the blood pressure go ballistic, and from what you've written you have a load on your back... Maybe a short daily ride will get your mind off things, and give you some peace of mind?? Even if it's just a short one....
Marcarl Posted November 8, 2009 #13 Posted November 8, 2009 I attended a birthday party for a dear friend of ours last night. She turned 50 this week. She stood up to speak to all her invited friends and mentioned some of her favorites. In her life she has had a load of problems, financial, spiritual, family,,, you name it and we prayed for her a lot. It's one of her favorites that caught my attention. It's a part of a bible verse,,,,,,,AND IT CAME TO PASS,,,,,,,. as she explained it, nothing ever comes to stay,, it all passes, it's here for a while and then it is gone, and so it came to pass. She said if it weren't for that part of a verse she would not be here today. Something to think about. And we will pray, that soon it may pass for you as well. Carl
autopilot Posted November 9, 2009 #16 Posted November 9, 2009 I pray for your deliverence from these shackles, both physical & financial.
Squidley Posted November 9, 2009 #18 Posted November 9, 2009 All the best to both of you, I know the stress you talk about, were living it too. Take sometime for you and try to relax, even if for a few minutes each day.
