uncledj Posted June 18, 2015 #127 Posted June 18, 2015 52, although I feel like I've never quite grown up.....still think like I'm 22.
sleepy2 Posted June 18, 2015 #128 Posted June 18, 2015 60years 7months. Still working 6 days a week. Just bought a Fibco tent trailer so I don't have to get off air mattress on ground and also get dressed standing up not bent over.
Stache Posted June 18, 2015 #130 Posted June 18, 2015 I'm 55, spouse somewhat less. 25 yrs in the infantry has done some damage, but overall the machinery still works well enough. Glad I moved to the RSV and RSTD from smaller V-twins. The comfort and room lets me flex the achy bits and relax into the ride.
Kozubek Posted June 18, 2015 #131 Posted June 18, 2015 45 and still out performing the 20 somethings on the Army PT test. Bought my first touring bike last week and already have close to 1000 miles on it. Don't know why I didn't buy one earlier.
orlean1 Posted June 18, 2015 #132 Posted June 18, 2015 52 right here and knocking on that retirement door in 4 years.

midnightrider1300 Posted June 18, 2015 #134 Posted June 18, 2015 well since 50 is the new 35 that makes me 39...you can do the math lol
Ron2006 Posted June 18, 2015 #136 Posted June 18, 2015 I'm 54 and plan to retire @ 57 so I can take my '06 Venture all over the country. :cool10:
Shamue Posted June 18, 2015 #137 Posted June 18, 2015 well don't feel 62 is that old, cause I see my childhood reappearing in April, 2016 when I retire for good. Maybe earlier if things work out. Having riden all over this fine Nation, Canada and Mexico I will retrace those steps and this time smell the roses. First on the bucket list is Alaska and then try a year long ride only coming home to recharge. Being out here in the West not to many Vernture riders close by, so I want to redo the East Coast, Mid West to meet so of you great VR's. Not in a hurry, but looking ahead.
SilvrT Posted June 18, 2015 #139 Posted June 18, 2015 I was 65 when this post originated in 2009. I was 40 (or at least I felt like I was) ... now I'm 68 ... but I sure don't feel like 40 no more! LOL
Condor Posted June 18, 2015 #141 Posted June 18, 2015 6 years older than when I posted to this thread the first time.....
gez Posted June 18, 2015 #142 Posted June 18, 2015 Just hit 64. Monday was National Ride to Work Day. I did take the bike out, but there was no way I was even going to attempt to find a job.
Sailor Posted June 18, 2015 #143 Posted June 18, 2015 I am getting older, wife is getting younger, bike is getting mileage. All good Emotionally....25 ( I can do anything) Mentally.........45 ( Let's think about this) Physically.......71 ( when did that happen!?)

habfan Posted June 18, 2015 #147 Posted June 18, 2015 58 this coming july, retired 6years last january.work harder now building cabinets than I did 32 yrs for Ford Motor Co. Love being busy, feel like I'm still in my 30's most of the time.
BigLenny Posted June 18, 2015 #148 Posted June 18, 2015 I'm 52. My mind is usually feeling 20 years younger, but my body feels like its 9000 years old.
Great White Posted June 18, 2015 #150 Posted June 18, 2015 ... but my body feels like its 9000 years old. Gawd I hear that! 25 years of SAR has beat the bull spit out of me. I'd still be ripping around on sport bikes if I wasn't so beat up. The FJ languishes in the garage and only gets 10-15 minute rips, memories of a less painful time. The 83 venture is kinder and gentler so it gets all the other riding duties. I'll have to console myself with making the Venture VMax powerful and sport bike stoppable.
