barend Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Friend of mine bought a 1200 wing, went through the carbs and had a shop do the same. He says it still has a slight hesitation and the shop says they can't get rid of it either. He says the bike runs great with a little choke?? Any of you have any ideas on what might be going on with his bike? Thanks!
MiCarl Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 I struggled mightily with this same problem on a 1200 wing this past summer. New plugs got rid of most of it. I eventually went quite a bit richer on the mixtures than "by the book". Took care of the problem, but it still hesitates until well warmed up.
