eazyduzzit Posted November 2, 2009 #1 Posted November 2, 2009 I bought an intercom from Sierra Electronics and I love it, but even though it mounts under the seat out of the way there are wire connectors hanging out from under the seat and it looks awful. I'm wondering if any of you guys who are more creative than me have come up with a way to make it look like those wires belong there instead of looking junky. The wires I'm speaking of are the ones your headset plug into, and that the Ipod plugs into. Thanks for any and all suggestions. JT
eazyduzzit Posted November 3, 2009 Author #2 Posted November 3, 2009 Shameless bump, I'm sure someone has done it.
starkruzen Posted November 24, 2009 #3 Posted November 24, 2009 I was looking at the Scala rider blue tooth so I wouldn'y have wire problems.
sarges46 Posted November 24, 2009 #4 Posted November 24, 2009 Ya wouldnt happen to have a pic do you JT? What model intercom system it this one?
wes0778 Posted November 24, 2009 #5 Posted November 24, 2009 Zip-ties or double sided automotive moulding tape, maybe???
bobbyduck Posted November 30, 2009 #6 Posted November 30, 2009 Hi, I installed a leather tank bra that has a pouch on it. I ran the MP3 wire into the pouch where I also keep my MP3 player and Boosteroo. I zip-tied the helmet lead to the MP3 lead and it looks just about as good as the factory Venture setup, IMHO. Good luck!
Pecker Posted November 30, 2009 #7 Posted November 30, 2009 I use this to communicate with the wife while we ride. Couldn't beat the price. The best part, just throw it in the saddle bag when you reach your destination. Man, I crack myself up sometimes.
