Condor Posted November 2, 2009 #1 Posted November 2, 2009 So who has the messiest Garage? Take a look at these.... GARAGES
utadventure Posted November 2, 2009 #3 Posted November 2, 2009 I feel sorry for the "mess" they have in their garages. I'll volunteer to suffer and come over and clean out some of that junk!! Dave
Condor Posted November 2, 2009 Author #4 Posted November 2, 2009 I didn't see yours in there Jack..?? Mime's one winning lotto ticket away........
Yammer Dan Posted November 2, 2009 #5 Posted November 2, 2009 Walked thru a car show yesterday. Remember quite a few of them things. What I don't remember is the price tags!!! Cars that I owned for couple hundred bucks going for over 20,000 bucks
Nemo Posted November 2, 2009 #6 Posted November 2, 2009 Here's one for you about car prices that really surprised me! I was in the Air Force stationed in Georgia and had this 1946 Mercury Sportsman wood sided Convertible. The dew at night was always very heavy. The wood kept rotting away and I kept it looking nice by filling in the spots with plastic wood. At a recent auction in California for pre and post war Ford and Mercury wood bodied station wagons, the top seller of the night was this convertible, like mine, which sold for $368,500.00.
dynodon Posted November 2, 2009 #7 Posted November 2, 2009 Bah! I have a garage with two 20+ YO Taurus SHO's, and a 78 VW along with my '86 VR and my wifes '98 Honda scoot. Along with a valuable collection of old parts (want a tie down loop or the original airbox from an '89 Taurus?), and a pile of rags. There are a few old Craftsman tools also. Mine is "lived in" and takes less time to clean up than it does to dust those places. I pity those people, they will never know the joy of cleaning up drips from $2000 cars with kitty litter and an old broom.

Herb In Texas Posted November 2, 2009 #9 Posted November 2, 2009 Can't find my a$$ with both hands in mine.
BigBoyinMS Posted November 2, 2009 #10 Posted November 2, 2009 I didn't see any garages in those pics... but I did see some nice "display cases" that I could turn into a nice garage!
sarges46 Posted November 2, 2009 #11 Posted November 2, 2009 One of the tires off of one of those cars cost more than my "garage", a little 12 x 16 shed!
Skid Posted November 2, 2009 #13 Posted November 2, 2009 Mine doesn't look bad on the outside, but the inside not quite that clean. I could almost have a Meet & Eat inside.... http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y262/venturerider/Sleeperhawks%20Mechanic%20Skid%20In%20200906/IMG_7620.jpg
Monty Posted November 2, 2009 #14 Posted November 2, 2009 Some of those are actual pictures, but I think most are screenshots from a recent game. Look closely, and you can see. Games like "Grid" and the Gran Turismo series look like real when you play them.
DragonRider Posted November 2, 2009 #15 Posted November 2, 2009 You did, we ate pizza in there to stay dry at the Skid In........ Mine doesn't look bad on the outside, but the inside not quite that clean. I could almost have a Meet & Eat inside.... http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y262/venturerider/Sleeperhawks%20Mechanic%20Skid%20In%20200906/IMG_7620.jpg
Skid Posted November 2, 2009 #16 Posted November 2, 2009 You did, we ate pizza in there to stay dry at the Skid In........ I think I had about 20 bikes inside at this year's Skid-In....
Yammer Dan Posted November 3, 2009 #17 Posted November 3, 2009 I think I had about 20 bikes inside at this year's Skid-In.... And there was room for more!!
Condor Posted November 3, 2009 Author #18 Posted November 3, 2009 Mine doesn't look bad on the outside, but the inside not quite that clean. I could almost have a Meet & Eat inside.... OK.... Now I'm really jealous......!!!!
Lone Eagle Posted November 3, 2009 #19 Posted November 3, 2009 OK.... Now I'm really jealous......!!!! umm - Condor - get rid of couple of parts, and maybe..........?????????? Awesome garages / cars. Man, one of those cars is probably more than our house
6m459 Posted November 6, 2009 #20 Posted November 6, 2009 Here's mine: (at a particularly and uncharacteristically tidy moment) http://www.filesanywhere.com/FS/M.aspx?v=9171668f999ca3b8a79c Not a patch on those fancy ones, but my happy place none the less. Brian H.
craigatcsi Posted November 8, 2009 #21 Posted November 8, 2009 It's too bad those folks with those fancy garages and all of the fancy cars, don't spread some of those cars around to those of use that don't have anything that nice. craigr
