Nemo Posted October 30, 2009 #1 Posted October 30, 2009 Can you raise your bike, using the carbon one adapter and if so does it balance OK?
bongobobny Posted October 30, 2009 #2 Posted October 30, 2009 Not positive on this, as mine won't be triked until next spring, but I believe the answer is yes, but not if you have the optional floorboards mounted. I'm sure somebody like Cougar, etc will have the definitive answer...
Guest tx2sturgis Posted October 30, 2009 #3 Posted October 30, 2009 Great question. I dont own a trike..yet...so I'm only guessing, but I would assume that almost any reason for lifting a trike would NOT call for lifting the whole thing, and as such, I'm guessing a normal small scissor jack lifting one of the 3 corners should be able to do most anything you need to do except maybe dropping the driveline or rear axle. Short of that, what did you have in mind as far as service work? Lifting the front end with a scissor jack should be pretty easy...the trike will balance on its own. I dont think I'd want a trike balancing precariously 18 inches off the deck on a normal bike lift. Only guessing. Like I said, I dont own a trike...YET!
