I have an LED tailight board and I don't think mine is from Custom Dynamics. I believe it is a Radianz and I don't recall where I ordered it from but here is a link to the same one. http://www.bikerhiway.com/radiantz-led-tail-light-for-yamaha-road-star-and-vstar-p-176.html

It has 3 white LEDs at the top for the license plate illumination and I don't think the one from Custom Dynamics has that. It is very bright and I feel it has enhanced the rear lighting. I did recently add the CD turn signal LED boards and they are very bright as well. They annoy my riding buddies when they are behind me when I signal. Thanks to Bummer for turning me on to those.

I originally bought the CD tailight for our 99 RSV and then transferred it the 06 when we bought it. I liked it so much (still do), that I bought several more for close friends with RSVs as well. Way brighter than OEM.

I also had the one from radianz on my 06. If I am not mistaken it was cheaper than the one from custom Dynamics. It was really bringht.

I recently installed the taillight/brake light from Custom Dynamic's. Very bright and a 5 min install. Well worth the money I think! Its does have the LED's for the license plate as well.

Yes...purchased all my LEDs from Custom dynamics.

When I first purchased the tail light it was a 30 LED and this link is to a video of the 30 LED tail light with a strobe unit connected.

I have since sold the 30 LED unit and purchased the 100 LED unit.

Both are very bright but the 100 LED is exceptional.

I have LED turn signals and other LEDs on my bike from them. Very very pleased with them.

I have the 100 light board from CD and am very happy with it. I used a different led for the turns. If you want to add RTB controller, I suggest Kuryakyn #4613. This is a plug/play unit with load equal. and just takes a few minutes to plug in under the drivers seat.
