Make believing that you are riding on your 2nd gen with your side stand down in the garage is not called Riding Gene...No wonder its Maintenance Free :rasberry::rotfl::stirthepot:

Charlie , Now remember that I'm not the one all sauced up trying to put birds of people heads for entertainment . :rotf:

And I don't slobber/spitting on the inside of my windsheild simulation engine noise and put brown streaks down the middle of my shorts acting like burn-outs !!!!!:rotf::stirthepot::stirthepot:

I know of one that has to go into the living room to be worked on all winter long.

Brad

...he must be an introvert, on a fixed income, probably a public servant whose income can't afford him a nice garage, somebody who appreciates the value of a classic, willing to sacrifice home and hearth to prevent depreciation of his biggest financial asset so he can continue to put on 3X the seasonal mileage of any local 2nd gen owners next year.

It's better to be silent and thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt. We're out getting big heads from all the compliments we get about how nice our 1st. gens are, and from bringing home the prizes from all the bike shows.:rasberry:

Riding mine everyday , maintainence free !

And haven't had to add any oil either .

No whining here , never , even if it did chirp . Enjoying the wind , HD's to my back and looking Purdy too !

Just checking on ya .:cool10::cool10::cool10:

Now Gene:no-no-no:,

Let me take a moment to clear the air...

1.) Just because you do your own "free" maintainence doesn't mean it's maintainence "free".

2.) Adding oil??? We all know yours runs on beer.

3.) Whining??? Are you talking about you or the bike?

4.) Wind??? Passing gas dosen't count.

5.) HD's to your back??? I'll give you that one. Kinda the same as 2nd gens to a 1st gens back? Even bikes have their place in the food chain!

6.) And looking purdy??? Man what are you thinking? A 1st gen has natural beauty. Thay don't need to be dressed in leather and a fuzzy wig to look "PURDY"!!!!

That being said??? We luv ya man!!!!

Brown streaks in the shorts are skid marks not burn outs, unless off course you have been eating really, really hot :225:chili

I know where ya coming from there MikeM , but I haven't had my boat out since the 4th of July . The M & E's have been taking up my weekends , but not this one as I will be 20 miles offshore tomorrow . 40+ lb kings Mac's to be taking , so I have to repay a favor and have fun at the same time .

Them there 1st Gen'rs are awful quiet here lately . Could it be the Dark Side taking over or retirement time on the old EGO-maniacs ? Did their "Ride-On"done rode off and left them behind ? Or could it be another embarrassing post on how they lost another vent on the side of the road ?

That's right there beer man, we are quiet. That is how we sneak up and pass you 2nd gens and your cousins the HDs.

However, should you listen very carefully, you may hear a few of us laugh on the way past you!:rasberry::rasberry::rasberry:
