It's just something I'm interested in since I do woodworking. I would like to plan a trip there sometime, and I'm wondering what else is there to see or do in the area.
dingy Posted October 29, 2009 #2 Posted October 29, 2009 Dover is very near what is called Amish Country in Berlin Ohio. Lots of small stores that are popular. Also there is a HUGE hardware store called Lehmans in Kidron Ohio http://www.lehmans.com/ They carry a lot of hand powered tools and related items. Very popular when Y2K was happening. Gary

Hummingbird Posted October 29, 2009 #5 Posted October 29, 2009 Starting at Sugarsreek Oh and going West on Rt.39 there are more than several good places to eat, more "amish" shops and stores than you could see in a week and several place that offer tours of the area. Berlin has gotten to be quite the tourist trap, I mean tourist area. There are a LOT of nice roads in the area as well.

Is this an elaborate plan by ALIENS to invade Dover, or... Is Dover becoming the Center of the Universe? Muhahaha... only the Shadow knows! Yea... I'm weird, but isn't this talk about Dover kind of weird or coincidental? Couldn't resist some happiness while I'm watching "Monsters vs. Alien Mutant Pumpkins From Outer Space". I may be physically 58, but I am mentally 10 years old .
