Yammer Dan Posted October 28, 2009 #1 Posted October 28, 2009 John posted his yesterday and I finally got word this morning that my retirement board agrees with all the Doctors. It has only taken since May. Guess they thought I would have starved by now and they wouldn't have to pay!! I am a dilapidated worn out piece of junk!!! It is offical. I am retired. Anyone know where I can get a job where I don't have to whip convicts?? Warden doesn't think she can handle me full time around here. I would make one he** of a Wall-Mart Greeter "ALL RIGHT EVERYBODY ON THE WALL AND SPREAD EM!!!" "GET OUT OF THAT CART LADY, UGLY AIN"T A HANDICAP!!" " WALK YOUR FAT A** AND YOU MIGHT NOT BE IN THAT SHAPE!!" I got them all covered!!
mini-muffin Posted October 28, 2009 #2 Posted October 28, 2009 I agree you'd make a great walmart greeter. I can see it now breaking news "Walmart greeter frisks all customers" :rotf::rotf: Bet they wouldn't have to worry about folks stealing with you there. Congrat's on them finally telling you that you're retired Dan. I'm sure the Warden will find plenty for you to do now to keep you busy. Oh is that why you want a job? Margaret
Guest tx2sturgis Posted October 28, 2009 #3 Posted October 28, 2009 I would make one he** of a Wall-Mart Greeter "ALL RIGHT EVERYBODY ON THE WALL AND SPREAD EM!!!" "GET OUT OF THAT CART LADY, UGLY AIN"T A HANDICAP!!" " WALK YOUR FAT A** AND YOU MIGHT NOT BE IN THAT SHAPE!!" I got them all covered!! Hey, its better than 'you want fries with that?' Seriously. Easy job, part time hours, and insurance! Ever wonder why the greeter turnover is pretty low? (Prolly not.) But you DO see the same greeters at your local store year after year. Must be SOMETHING they like about it. Can you say the same about your local burger flipper? Anyway, congrats to you on your retirement....lots of riding time now, I assume?
ADC Posted October 28, 2009 #4 Posted October 28, 2009 Congrats Dan,glad to hear it but I'm not sure if walmart is ready for you or not. Arthur

wes0778 Posted October 29, 2009 #18 Posted October 29, 2009 So after landing my new job as a Wal-Mart greeter, a good find for many retirees, I lasted less than a day...... About two hours into my first day on the job a very loud, unattractive, mean-acting woman walked into the store with her two kids, Yelling obscenities at them all the way through the entrance. As I had been instructed, I said pleasantly, 'Good morning and welcome to Wal-Mart. Nice children you have there. Are they twins?' The ugly woman stopped yelling long enough to say, 'Hell no, they ain't twins. The oldest one's 9, and the other one's 7.. Why the hell would you think they're twins? Are you blind, or just stupid?' So I replied, 'I'm neither blind nor stupid, Ma'am, I just couldn't believe someone slept with you twice. Have a good day and thank you for shopping at Wal-Mart.' My supervisor said I probably wasn't cut out for this line of work.
