Bubber Posted October 27, 2009 #3 Posted October 27, 2009 Its raining and I did not get to ride to work last night, and it still raining to day. Gregg:95: WE won't get to ride for 6 more months....... what was the problem again????? Weather has just sucked for all of October only 3 days above average, all others were significantly below average. I rode the bike once all month and it ain't looking much better in the near future. LOL You will just have to ride for all of us for awhile. Bubber
GeorgeS Posted October 27, 2009 #4 Posted October 27, 2009 Don't say " Rain " Forcast, Seattle, next 7 days, Rain. If your east of here, get ready !!
MidlifeVenture Posted October 27, 2009 #5 Posted October 27, 2009 Oh please I keep hearing the S___ word and you cry about rain:cold: I hate winter
Sailor Posted October 28, 2009 #6 Posted October 28, 2009 We got wet but not too cold for the next month.
Venturous Randy Posted October 28, 2009 #7 Posted October 28, 2009 It has been pouring rain all day and still is right now. One thing for sure, we are definately out of the drought mode. Tomorrow is to be about 70º and Thursday about 72º. If the rain has quit by in the morning, I will take the bike to work, or I might come home at lunch and pick it up. RandyA
Monty Posted October 28, 2009 #8 Posted October 28, 2009 Been raining like crazy here too. It's supposed to be gone by morning, and be in the 60's tomorrow, so I may be able to ride to work. I'm soooo sick of rain.
footsie Posted October 28, 2009 Author #9 Posted October 28, 2009 I was bored, when I get bored someone should take away my comp. But every now and then I do come up with a interesting thread. Gregg
Yammer Dan Posted October 28, 2009 #10 Posted October 28, 2009 Raining here this morning but warm. Supposed to be almost 80 thursday.
Monsta Posted October 28, 2009 #11 Posted October 28, 2009 Ya wimps... I love riding in the rain. It heightens my senses and awareness to beyond drug-induced levels. Riding in the rain is a very intense, satisfying experience. However, proper rain gear makes a world of difference.

LOL I guess when you get where your going your already half way home huh?
Monsta Posted October 28, 2009 #13 Posted October 28, 2009 Where do ya go on the island ....just around in circles??? LOL Yup...just tiny little circles in the rain. I guess when you get where your going your already half way home huh? Isn't that true no matter where you live?
Monty Posted October 28, 2009 #14 Posted October 28, 2009 I don't mind riding in the rain, but I hate riding in the rain at night. When headlights hit those water droplets, I can hardly see. If something was laying in the road, I would hit it before I got a chance to react to it. I rode 39 miles to work Friday morning in the rain, and it was dark outside. Seems like I met 3 times the oncoming cars I normally do.
