Squeeze will a starter from a vmax fit a 87VR the part# are the same except the first 3 example vmax # 1FK81800-10-00 VR# 26H81800-10-00 i ask because Atlantadragonslayer is looking for one and a co on ebay has 10 for sale for $91.00 new

Yes, this Starter will fit any V4.

 

But based on the Parts-No, it's the "weaker" 2-Brush Starter, the 4-Brush Motor ist # 1FK-81890-00-0. I think even a 2Gen Starter Motor will fit too.
