Marcarl Posted October 22, 2009 #1 Posted October 22, 2009 Thanks to all the help we're getting, the new shop is taking shape. CdnDave helped out a lot with building a loft in the garage attached to the house, so that I would have permission to do some reno in the shop for better accommodations. Wizard765 has been very busy pulling wires from here to there and arguing with the owner,,,, usually the owner let;s him have his way. Son Allan came down to help out raising the loft 18" so it was more usable. No pictures, but Arnold, a freind, came down with a new insulated sectional door and installed it. All in all, a lot done so far. Thanks guys. Now that you found it, guess you're welcome anytime.
RandyR Posted October 22, 2009 #2 Posted October 22, 2009 Looks like its going to be good accomodations....

Dano Posted October 23, 2009 #5 Posted October 23, 2009 I can't believe you let Wayne do your wiring for you! Have you increased your property insurance yet? Actually I'm kinda jealous, I didn't get to modify my garage before I had to start putting stuff in there. I could have easily raised it up a block or two, only have a 6-1/2' door opening. Good luck, and I hope the lights actually work for ya!
CdnDave77 Posted October 24, 2009 #7 Posted October 24, 2009 Carl failed to mention that he took the ladder away from the "new" loft when I was up there until he could get his camera...
Guest ReinyRooster Posted October 24, 2009 #8 Posted October 24, 2009 Looks like a good ole' barn dance would be in order!!
Marcarl Posted October 24, 2009 Author #9 Posted October 24, 2009 Carl failed to mention that he took the ladder away from the "new" loft when I was up there until he could get his camera... Wasn't going to post this picture, but you forced me into it.

Marcarl Posted October 25, 2009 Author #13 Posted October 25, 2009 Love that color of purple in there, you guys keeping it for the master bedroom??!!! There's an argument on the color, but the neighbours don't have any say, so I will be painting it. Any suggestions?????? I'll pass them on to Marca.

Brake Pad Posted October 25, 2009 #15 Posted October 25, 2009 God, I wish I had the extra room at my place to build up like that, thats awesome I love the over head, will add something like that in, when we go to build the next house.
Marcarl Posted February 5, 2010 Author #16 Posted February 5, 2010 Just thought to post how the upgrades are coming along. The house is not p 5icture perfect just yet,,, but shop is getting real workable. #1,2,3 are of the shop where the work is supposed to be done. #4 is a shot of where Marca gets to leave my coffee. # is where I get to drink my coffee As you may notice, Blondie has also arrived for her annual visit. Let's hope she behaves herself this time. Carl
Dano Posted February 5, 2010 #17 Posted February 5, 2010 I have some Federal-Pacific breakers if you ever need them, Carl. Just noticed that in your pics. Place is looking real good, as long as you keep the blinders on Blondie, you should be OK!
Squidley Posted February 5, 2010 #18 Posted February 5, 2010 Nice looking shop, now all I have to do is get one of them for me
