Colin Morrish - founder of UK Venture Club

I don't know how many of you knew Colin - he started the UK Venture Club and was active in touring with the motor touring club europe (MTCE).

 

I didn't know, but was just looking up the shop phone number for a UK member.

He wasalways very welcoming in the shop and it was only a few weeks ago I dropped by with a pack of biscuits to tell him about the carb diaphragm replacements I had fitted.

 

He was looking forward to his next tour. just doesn't seem possible.

A few more details on Colin's funeral

 

Tuesday 27th October 2009

 

Colin will leave his shop at CM Motorcycles, 324 High St, Rochester at approx 12.15pm - 12.30pm to arrive at St Augustine's Church, Rock Avenue, Gilllingham for a church service at 1.00pm. Then to proceed to Chatham Cemetery for a service at 2.30pm.

 

We will then celebrate his life at St Georges Hotel, 7 -8 New Road Avenue, Chatham at 3.00pm - 7.00pm.

 

Flowers - Donations to his favorite charity (Kent Air Ambulance) can be sent to A H Apps 30/32 Luton Road, Chatham, Kent

 

Flowers can also come to Colin's shop on Tuesday 27 October 2009
