Venturous Randy Posted October 16, 2009 #4 Posted October 16, 2009 Anybody remember the "Mini 8-track"? I had one in my 64 Chevelle in about 72. RandyA
skydoc_17 Posted October 16, 2009 #5 Posted October 16, 2009 Hey Saddlebum, I could not agree with you more! I installed new speakers and gave the old cassette deck the once over and the stereo on these first gens. ROCKS! I go to the flea markets and pick up all my favorite music from twenty-five cents to a buck a tape. I must admit though on a few extended rides, I have listened to the same tape for like 500 miles! I keep forgetting to put a new tape in. Of course in the old days I played more than one cassette until it spooled off the reel! Aaaahhhh, memories! Earl
rjg1985 Posted October 16, 2009 #6 Posted October 16, 2009 I am also fixing up my 1st Gen cassette deck, but I need one of the large buttons. If anyone has one to sell please send me a PM. Thanks
