MasterGuns Posted October 12, 2009 #1 Posted October 12, 2009 (edited) Did my fist ride with the warming gear I purchased from Cozy Winters. The set I picked up consists of a jacket and pants liner, gloves and socks. I also bought the dual troller and the cigarette plug adapter. The bike I hooked all this stuff up to is an 86 VR. Great stuff. Rode in 49 degree weather and started to sweat. Turned it way, way down. Can't wait to see if it keeps me warm when the temp is in the lower 30s. Great investment. Bloodbought1 Posted October 12, 2009 #2 Posted October 12, 2009 I have the same items in Gerbings...Love them...They will keep you toasty in the teens....Sweaty if you aren't careful.
davepa Posted October 13, 2009 #3 Posted October 13, 2009 Glad to here the clothing kept you comfy..I ordered the Generation 4 jacket liner, gloves, and dual controller from Warm & Safe Sunday evening. Can't wait to give the heated gear a test drive.
Bigfoot Posted October 13, 2009 #4 Posted October 13, 2009 Just curious. How difficult is it to hook this gear up?
Bloodbought1 Posted October 13, 2009 #5 Posted October 13, 2009 Very simple. Hook the fused connector to the + and - on the battery. Get you a controller, portable or permanent mount. Plug the controller into the Fused connector and plug the leads off of your heated clothing to the other leads off the controller. Turn controller on and set the heat....It's really simple...Maybe I helped somewhat.
tommycole Posted October 18, 2009 #6 Posted October 18, 2009 Did cozy winters quit handeling Gerbing and does anyone have an opinion about the diff in Gerbing & Warm gear Thanks TC:confused24:
Sylvester Posted October 18, 2009 #7 Posted October 18, 2009 They all put out heat. I have Tour Master Synergy jacket and Gerbing gloves that I use through out the winter. I also have Gerbing pants liner and socks that I used years ago in Nebraska, but I don't need them anymore here in the Carolinas.
tommycole Posted December 1, 2009 #9 Posted December 1, 2009 My new tourmaster synergy's are very good except in the thumb. TC
eazyduzzit Posted December 1, 2009 #10 Posted December 1, 2009 Did cozy winters quit handeling Gerbing and does anyone have an opinion about the diff in Gerbing & Warm gear I had a bad experience with Gerbing customer service. They never did resolve it for me. You can read about it in a post I did last year. Gerbing customer service
