Danimal Posted October 11, 2009 #1 Posted October 11, 2009 Had bike serviced and now a light flashed on for a blip and disappeared and I can't find which it is. Lost my manual and not sure it tells you location of lights anyway. Sitting on bike its the furthest left and bottom. It's red but it doesn't come on when you turn the key on. I was really in the gas when it came on so maybe it's to let you know your about to go airborne? Any help is appreciated. 07 RSV by the way.
friesman Posted October 11, 2009 #3 Posted October 11, 2009 If you were hard into the throttle, I am guessing that it is your oil level light, as the sensor is at the front of the pan. My 1st gen has done that a couple of times when Ive really been accellerating hard. Brian
LilBeaver Posted October 11, 2009 #4 Posted October 11, 2009 Lower left is Oil Level, lower right is coolant temp warning. Both of them are red. They only come on when you crank the motor (not when you turn the key to the on position). Like others have said: Check your oil level and some have experienced this light coming on under hard acceleration due to the location of the sensor
