Godlover Posted October 10, 2009 #1 Posted October 10, 2009 Five years ago I sold my 2000 Millennium Venture - went to a VTX 1800 and then to an Ultra Classic. Last week I found another Millennium Venture and it only had 13,000 miles. I got it for 6 grand! I'm going to pick it up in Louisiana on our way home from Texas in two weeks. I had planned to ride it home but it is snowing today in Iowa so to be safe I will get a trailer. It is good to be back!

I've had a lot of bikes, not yet a VTX or Ultra, but the Venture is by far the best bike I've owned in my 40+ years of riding.
Mariner Fan Posted October 10, 2009 #4 Posted October 10, 2009 Interesting that you went back to the Venture. The VTX and the Harley Ultra are pretty nice bikes as well. I may have to get another just as a spare. Doubt they will make anymore of these after 2010.
ArticusMedicus Posted October 10, 2009 #5 Posted October 10, 2009 Man, I'm jealous. I dream of owning a Millennium. I don't know why those colors are so dang attractive to me? I should just paint my Midnight. Congrats bro, enjoy it.
bongobobny Posted October 10, 2009 #6 Posted October 10, 2009 Hey, you used the "S" word!!! No No No No!!!!! Congratulations anyway!
Godlover Posted October 10, 2009 Author #7 Posted October 10, 2009 The VTX 1800 was a horse - the Ultra rode nice but some guy wanted it more than I did - but getting into a Venture for 6 grand - and it is a great ride - you just can't beat it!
Whitlow Posted October 11, 2009 #8 Posted October 11, 2009 I've owned 3 VTX 1800 Retros, 01 Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 1500, 01 Harley Road King, 94 Honda Goldwing, and now my 03 RSV and I like the RSV better than any of them by far!!!!
