spear Posted October 10, 2009 #1 Posted October 10, 2009 You may have seen some TV coverage a couple of weeks ago of a massive dust storm that swept across Australia and turned Sydney a deep red colour. This is a shot a mate sent me of the storm front as it passed through Broken Hill. Broken Hill is in the very west of my State and close to the 'epicentre' of the storm where it originated in central South Australia. The last I heard the dust was settling on the north island of New Zealand.
mini-muffin Posted October 10, 2009 #2 Posted October 10, 2009 Yeah I did see the news about that. Didn't look like any fun to be in. So you didn't get any of that by you then? Margaret
RandyR Posted October 10, 2009 #4 Posted October 10, 2009 looks like a stampede of Tazmanian Devils....
Yammer Dan Posted October 10, 2009 #5 Posted October 10, 2009 looks like a stampede of Tazmanian Devils.... Or a 1st Gen got away from somebody!! I wouldn't want to get caught in that.
Yama Mama Posted October 11, 2009 #7 Posted October 11, 2009 Wow that cannot be good on our Venture paint. Thanks for the photo. Yama Mama:big-grin-emoticon:
barend Posted October 11, 2009 #8 Posted October 11, 2009 Reminiscent of the Dustbowl! Didn't they show something similar on the news just the other day from around New Mexico or so?? The place that picture is taken from 'd be the only place to experience that from, wouldn't care to be in it!

silent67 Posted October 11, 2009 #10 Posted October 11, 2009 Notice the nest and holes in filter ! Not hard to do, just time consuming. Hung a new E3 on the rear and watched Squidbilly episodes on laptop while doing this.
