we go by. The wife and I are leaving Saturday on our annual bike vacation. Had planned to do West Virginia but the weather is too cold for my better half. So we decided to ride the Trace to Natchez, MI and go over to Gulfport for a couple of days. We are staying at the Naval Base since a two room suite is only $59 and no tax. Will head back to Tennessee via Montgomery, Al and Columbus, GA. If you see a fast BLACK Midnight go by pulling a Piggy Backer--toot your horn.

"The Trace" is a beautiful ride, just be on the look out for 4-legged Bambi and the 2-legged (federal) bears.

If you need anything while passing through the Jackson, MS area, my cell # is on my profile. Sorry to say I've been called in to work next week, or I'd ride along with y'all for a bit. If you have an extra day spend some time in Natchez, it is a beautiful city.

Hope you have a great trip. I'll second the warning to be on the look out for bambi on the NT. If it is late afternoon the northern part in MS is thick with them. It is a great ride, very peaceful.

after riding the trace,it's was hard to beleave,the ride without traffic lites or stop sign for over 400 mls,just don't for get gas,the GPS can be wrong
