Hey Yammer.

 

Yeppers that was one of my "uninformed" purchases before I found my way around this site. Doh!

 

I used it for a few months in my '84 before I found out it wasn't supposed to work and FINALLY found a good 41R for my '84.

 

It did what it was supposed to do. Clean little unit. I hung onto it as a spare in case mine failed but figured it needed a good home in the right year of bike.

Partshark is listing it for $15.47, so probably about $20 - $25 at a local dealer, for the complete cable assy.
