Question about TCI's

Is there any difference with the TCI for a 1200 and a 1300?? I just pickied up the guts from a 1300 TCI on ebay for $14 including shipping. It's biled as an '86 up but will it work on an '85??

I know the 1990 up are digital and different then the earlier ones. They also use just one pickup instead of 2 in the stator area.

84 to around 90 will work. 83 is different.

Thanks! Supposedly that is what's wrong with the 85, and I can test it on the 84...
