a1bummer Posted October 6, 2009 #1 Posted October 6, 2009 Why is it those meteorologists gotta be throwing that "s***" word around so willy nilly and all so early in the fall already?! If I plug my ears and pretend I never heard it, will it stay away?
saddlebum Posted October 6, 2009 #2 Posted October 6, 2009 Wellllll it will at least stay out of your ears :rotfl::rotfl:
hunter 1500 Posted October 6, 2009 #3 Posted October 6, 2009 I hear you. We had 3" of the white stuff up on Mt Mansfield already. What happened to Indian summer?
camos Posted October 6, 2009 #4 Posted October 6, 2009 What happened to Indian summer? We voted to keep it on the West Coast this year. Sorry....well not really.
royalstarjac Posted October 6, 2009 #5 Posted October 6, 2009 I hear you. We had 3" of the white stuff up on Mt Mansfield already. What happened to Indian summer? Wow. We were just up there last month for the Rolling Thru Vermont rally. Had lunch at Stowe one day. The leaves were just starting to change.
Venturous Randy Posted October 6, 2009 #6 Posted October 6, 2009 I hear you. We had 3" of the white stuff up on Mt Mansfield already. What happened to Indian summer? We are getting Indian Summer on Thursday, it is supposed to be 80º. Then for the weekend it is supposed to be in the 60's. RandyA

LilBeaver Posted October 6, 2009 #10 Posted October 6, 2009 Yea, it is a comin... The lows are already in the 50's and the high today is only 77! (Which is a good break from yesterday's 90) Yup, I miss alot of things about northern Michigan but winter from October to May is NOT one of them. You enjoy that S*** for all of us.
ArticusMedicus Posted October 6, 2009 #11 Posted October 6, 2009 Callin for sn..sno... That stuff on Thursday here.
autopilot Posted October 7, 2009 #12 Posted October 7, 2009 Why is it those meteorologists gotta be throwing that "s***" word around so willy nilly and all so early in the fall already?! If I plug my ears and pretend I never heard it, will it stay away? Good grief, you have WHAT falling out of the SKY???? I knew there was supposed to be climate change going on, but REALLY, that's a bit much! Remind me not to visit in the cooler weather! I certainly wouldn't want to be caught in a s***storm! Under the circumstances, I don't think it would prevent it, but I think plugging your ears would be very much appropriate, although plugging your nose seems like a better idea. By the way, does this happen often around there? Wow! Dude, I am so sorry for you guys! I sure hope the winter's mild. (Yes, I'll be the one on the left for my badness)
