Carbon_One Posted September 25, 2007 #1 Posted September 25, 2007 Well folks it's been just over a year this month that I first offered my lift adapters for sale here and I want to take this moment to say "Thanks for all of the support and encouragement I've received from everyone here". I had already been out of a job for the previous 6 months so the extra money I was able to make was more than welcome. It gave me a purpose in filling my days as well as keeping me busy enough so that I didn't go nuts. Officially I'm retired now but fear not as I'll continue offering these lift adapters to anyone who wants one. As noted above making them keeps me just the right amount of busyness. I've even had the highest form of flattery as someone copied my design and has sold them on E-Bay. Since I have no patient on them he's legal if not ethical. He's only done the Standard model and also doesn't offer the Larin Special versions. I don't think he sells many thou as i've seen nurmous times he's listed them and had no sales. So in this regard I thank everyone again who has bought the adapters thru me. Also while Thanking folks for their support & purchases of the lift adapters I want to say the same for those who have purchased my Stebel horn brackets. THANKS to all, Larry
Steve S Posted September 25, 2007 #2 Posted September 25, 2007 Larry. Thank you for seeing the need and supplying us with a quality product at a very fair price. It is great to be able to buy what I need from a fellow Venture rider. I wish you the best in your retirement:080402gudl_prv:. Hope some day to actually meet you on a ride.
royalstarjac Posted September 25, 2007 #3 Posted September 25, 2007 Ever think about applying for a patent? Might be a good idea!-Jack
Squidley Posted September 25, 2007 #4 Posted September 25, 2007 When you build a superior product, word travels fast. It's always good to hear that your keeping yourself busy. Looking very forward to seeing you again

sarges46 Posted September 25, 2007 #6 Posted September 25, 2007 I have to remember that the ebay ones are not you. I have been looking at em. I will make sure to contact only you via here when I decide to get the adaptor.
BigD Posted September 25, 2007 #7 Posted September 25, 2007 Hey Larry, You do quality work, and offer a very useful product. I'm still waiting for the production of the stainless steel cover that you made which covers the wires behind the passing lights. So glad you guys are feeling better. BigD
juggler Posted September 25, 2007 #8 Posted September 25, 2007 My lovely wife bought me the lift adapter for my birthday. That was a great gift. I've used it a few times, mainly to clean the bike, but I plan to use the lift adapter w/legs to store my bike this winter. I must have missed the posts about the Stebel horn mount. I'll have to remember that for when I buy the horn. Thank again Larry.
VTirelli Posted September 26, 2007 #9 Posted September 26, 2007 I LOVE my Larry lift!! AND my Stebel horn bracket. . . . Larry.......you da man!!!
Mean Dog Posted September 26, 2007 #10 Posted September 26, 2007 Larry, You designed and created a quality product for a fair price my friend. Even though I had built one from your earlier design and it worked perfectly, I decided to purchase the free standing model from you. Why? Being out of work for 19 months while healing both arms and having a steel rod placed in my neck due to an accident I know what you were going through. Even now being out because of my Cancer it is sometimes hard to manage. Now that I had the chance to meet you at Vogel I am even more pleased that I did. I was so upset about you and Joyce's accident at Vogel but, glad that you both came through it as you did. I wish I could have done more for you my friend. I hope your surgery was successful! http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/ernaehrung/food-smiley-010.gif Mark
Jerry W Posted September 26, 2007 #11 Posted September 26, 2007 I plan to order a lift soon. Sounds like a way to help a fellow rider out and get a top quality product at the same time.
Just-Jack Posted September 26, 2007 #12 Posted September 26, 2007 Larry, I can tell you that Jack really liked the horn bracket that he got and that it made the gift of the horn all the better and he loves it. Thanks again, might have to look into getting the lift for another present but who knows Jessie:2132:
