renate Posted September 30, 2009 #1 Posted September 30, 2009 Hello my friends. Yes, I'm in Germany visiting my parents. My dad survived the last 12 month and I'm so thankful to all of your prayers and well wishes. Last Friday my parents celebrated there belated 50th wedding anyversary with 50 family members and friends. Al and I thought it would be wonderful to fly over and suprise my mom and dad. It was very emotional as you all could imagine. I had told my dad that I was a little worried to suprise him, because of his heart, he replied , even if I had died I would have died a happy man. Well, that turned on everybodies waterfaucets. :crying: However, he really ment it. I have only one more day and it's back to the US. Time sure flies when you have fun. I miss Al so much, but It is hard to leave your family behind too. Anyway, it was great to see my dad in good health again. Still a little shaky but otherwise ok. Can't wait to be back. Tally ho
