Coolant Reservoir

When I turn my ride off I can hear coolant boiling in the coolant reservoir. What gives?

You do not say what bike you have. That is not normal at all for a 2nd gen - sounds like your engine is either overheating, or at the least, it is low on coolant.

Sorry. It's a 1997 Royal Star.

The 97 Royal Star I had did that a few times. I found out the fan was hitting the shroud and not turning. Check to make sure the fan spins freely and the there is enough coolant in the tank.
