hunter 1500 Posted September 29, 2009 #1 Posted September 29, 2009 These were some of the Pictures I took from our North East Intruder Alert Ralley. We keep it small and it enables us to do some pretty cool stuff every year. Last winter we lost one of our members to diabetes so the pictures of us up on the mountain were from a tribute ride for him. We had a small urn of some of his ashes and spread them up there. http://s53.photobucket.com/albums/g51/hunter1500/th_IMG_0230.jpg http://s53.photobucket.com/albums/g51/hunter1500/th_IMG_0184.jpg
Yama Mama Posted September 29, 2009 #2 Posted September 29, 2009 That certainly was a very nice way to honor someone who has passed away. We saw a similar tribute to someone when we were up on a mountain looking at Mt. Rushmore this summer. Thank you for sharing that with us. Yama Mama
nyjerry Posted October 4, 2009 #3 Posted October 4, 2009 Hunter those are some nice pictures and the roads look interesting. We road thru the lower catskills last weekend ( rt52 and rt206 ) and also rt6 in PA. I have to say your road trip may have had a little better views. Route 6 is real nice and has some nice sightes and great small towns. Well back to why I was responding to this in the first place. I would like to no the route you took, because it looks like a good road trip with great senic views. I would like to ride that area a little more with it beeing so close by. Thanks Jerry
hunter 1500 Posted October 5, 2009 Author #4 Posted October 5, 2009 If anyone is in that area I highly recomend the The Big Red Barn for their BBQ. Some of the best ribs I ever had and very biker freindly. http://www.thesummitredbarn.com/
distancerider Posted October 5, 2009 #5 Posted October 5, 2009 OK, I hate to say this but I can't see or find the pictures you speak of. I know it must be something simple but ???
utadventure Posted October 5, 2009 #7 Posted October 5, 2009 Great pictures and a fine way to remember a dear friend. Dave
