:puzzled:Is anyone using the Verticle Hide A Hitch from Diamond R Accessories? If so, are you pleased with the function and looks? It sounds like a great idea. I was just curious about clearance, how visible it is when the receiver is removed, and how the safety chains would clear the fender. It looks like they will be hooked up and under the fender...

Doesn't show when the hitch is removed. No clearance problems. I pulled a trailer 4,200 miles in July with it with no problems. Highly Recommended.:thumbsup2:

I hardly ever remove it, but when I do, there's nothing to see. It's gone.

I had a little trouble attaching the safety chains to the bracket, so I added two snap hooks. Now it's a breeze.

I made my own verticle hitch and my rear mud flap hid it.

Only time anyone knew I had one is when I was carrying my cooler..

Safety chains will not hit the rear fender unless the trailer itself comes off the hitch ball and the trailer tonge is bouncing up and down in a real frenzy..then your in a pickle anyway and I dont think you or anyone would be worrying about some little chain mark on the bottom of your rear fender.. :whistling:
