Guest scarylarry Posted September 26, 2009 #2 Posted September 26, 2009 http://r-markventures.blogspot.com/ I bought a set from these people and great shipper and easy to installed also pick the one u like......
Gray Ghost Posted September 26, 2009 #3 Posted September 26, 2009 I have the SD lightbar. From pictures it looks the same to me as the ones from Diamond R and R-Mark. I believe that the only option (besides color) from SD is three running and then all on for braking.
Guest oldroadstar Posted September 26, 2009 #4 Posted September 26, 2009 Each on mounts a little differently. The Diamond R hangs below the helmet locks while the other uses spacers to hold it out from the rear of the helmet locks. Either way works fine. I have the DR with the chrome piece around it. I don't believe turn signals could be integrated with either.
gibvel Posted September 26, 2009 #5 Posted September 26, 2009 http://r-markventures.blogspot.com/ I bought a set from these people and great shipper and easy to installed also pick the one u like...... Besides that, Mark is a member on this site!!
FreezyRider Posted September 26, 2009 #6 Posted September 26, 2009 If the wiring pigtail on the lightbar has only 3 wires, then you cannot integrate turnsignals. If there are 4 or 5 then you can have turnsignals too.
Midrsv Posted September 26, 2009 #7 Posted September 26, 2009 (edited) Mark, Have a look at the Whelen strip-lites. They are more expensive but I think they are much brighter than other strips. I have one on my bike and I believe it has 96 LEDs and works as a run/stop light. They have models that can be set up for run/turn/stop lights. I have mine set up to provide a 4 flash burst followed by a solid brake light. There are a couple of photos of my mounting system on the old bike I had in this thread: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=29908&highlight=whelen And further down in the thread someone posted photos of the run/turn/stop model. The prices are all over the place so you need to search for the best price if you're interested. Below are a few links and there are many more if you search google. KiteSquid Posted September 27, 2009 #8 Posted September 27, 2009 They are manufactured by the same company, Innovative Lighting. They are 15" stop/tail/turn lamps for the back of semi trailers, or variations of that. The price is all over the place, from reasonable, to WOW what a great deal, to WOW what a rip off. BTW I found one that all the lamps come on dim for running, all on bright for stop, and it has built in reflectivity, which is GREAT when the bike is parked...... It was a scratch and dent, for $6 plus shipping.............
