Do you guys that have these drink holders actually stay in the saddle so long that you can't make it to the next stop without a drink? We carry our "gatoraid" or whatever in the side bag and drink when we stop...which is generally around an hour to an hour & a half and oftentimes, we don't even take a drink...just a short "driving" or "butt" break or to see some sights at a pulloff.

Not meaning any disrespect but I sometimes think such things are nothing more than a fad or status symbol for some people. I had one once ... way back in 1987 on my '83 Wing ... hardly ever really used it and finally got rid of it.

It's like a cigarette lighter ... even riding on these scoots ya can't fully enjoy a smoke ... friggin ashes blow all over ya, get in yer eyes and such. Oh wait... I get it now .... the drink holder holds the ashtray!!! :D

when you factor in that a greta deal of my ridding is in 90 degree plus weather and add the fact that I've been in the hospital several times for severe dehydation. I'll take the status symbol. I will not let myself dehydrate if I can help it and if it means poutting a drink holer on my bike then so be it, And no I was not offended by the remark just givimg you a plausable if not medical reson for your consideratrion.

No installation cup holder, we had a couple of these on our boat. My wife complained last weekend as we were getting ready to leave on a ride because she has nothing to put her water in on the new bike. I grabbed one of these on the boat and it worked like a champ, EZ to store also.
