Motorcycle Mike Posted September 21, 2009 Author #2 Posted September 21, 2009 Well, Thats supposed to be pictures of all the flooding in GA.
Squidley Posted September 21, 2009 #3 Posted September 21, 2009 Hang in there, at least you'll be able to ride it all year, unlike some of the folks further north that are trying to cram as much in before the 4 letter word comes.
gunboat Posted September 21, 2009 #4 Posted September 21, 2009 now i'am not saying nothing but would that 4 letter word be SNOW don c.
Squidley Posted September 21, 2009 #5 Posted September 21, 2009 now i'am not saying nothing but would that 4 letter word be SNOW don c. HA! I wont know the meaning of that word in a few weeks
Yammer Dan Posted September 21, 2009 #6 Posted September 21, 2009 now i'am not saying nothing but would that 4 letter word be SNOW don c. I Didn't Hear That!!!!
BoomerCPO Posted September 21, 2009 #7 Posted September 21, 2009 That four letter word (SNOW) should be BANNED from this Site...... Boomer.........who calls that stuff "angel crap".........
mini-muffin Posted September 21, 2009 #8 Posted September 21, 2009 Hope the rain stops sometime soon for you folks. We were suppose to have gotten that stuff up here, but evidently it likes you all better. Oh that snow stuff kinda white flaky looking stuff right? Margaret
massey130 Posted September 21, 2009 #9 Posted September 21, 2009 we see that snow stuff on the news a lot. as far as on the ground, once every 3 to 5 years we get some that will hang around for a day or 3. dale in La
KeithR Posted September 21, 2009 #10 Posted September 21, 2009 I'm happy to see the forecast for my area for this Friday has changed from flurries to rain......will wait and see I guess:mad: Keith
N3FOL Posted September 21, 2009 #11 Posted September 21, 2009 Well, we didn't really have a very miserable hot humid summer this year. So local predictors/acquaintances are saying that winter may involve a lot of that $%*# stuff. I guess I don't have to worry about that until December of this year (hopefully).
jburrell Posted September 21, 2009 #12 Posted September 21, 2009 HA! I wont know the meaning of that word in a few weeks Come on down here and enjoy year round riding. Don't forget we have a ride to Big Bend coming up. What part of Texas are you moving to? Its a big state. 900+ miles border to border. As a matter of fact El Paso is closer to California than it is to Houston. Give us all a call when you get settled in and we will show you where we ride. Lonestar Rally coming up next month in Galveston and attendance used to be 400k but IKE slowed it down a little.
silverdeer0454 Posted September 21, 2009 #13 Posted September 21, 2009 Do you know the differance between Lorena Bobbit and a weatherman? When Lorena says there will be 6 inches on the ground by morning, we can believe her! silverdeer
Wanderer Posted September 21, 2009 #14 Posted September 21, 2009 Seashell is the best color for riding in the rain. :rotfl:
yamadawg Posted September 21, 2009 #15 Posted September 21, 2009 I picked my '03 up last Thursday and since then have ridden over 800 miles and none of them were dry. (Well maybe 50 or so, but I was soaked the whole time.) There was no way that I was going to wait to ride. :Venture:I am anxious to see what the bike feels like on a dry road for a change. I do feel your pain... maybe we should of bought submarines...
Motorcycle Mike Posted September 21, 2009 Author #16 Posted September 21, 2009 Seashell is the best color for riding in the rain. :rotfl: Problem is, the roads are washing away. No joke.
BuckShot Posted September 22, 2009 #17 Posted September 22, 2009 HA! I wont know the meaning of that word in a few weeks Hope your getting a biiiigggg place Squid. We all need a place to stay and ride during the winter months when we move to Texas for the winter. How many can be at Squids for the month of Dec?
