Venturous Randy Posted September 18, 2009 Share #18 Posted September 18, 2009 At the 1st Vogal, when I met these guys for the 1st time, we had a discussion and someone suggested "Purple Haze", but even though it fit, I never got into it. When I did a repaint a couple of years ago, I noticed that one of the names for the same color was "Twilight Royal Plum", so I am thinking more along the lines of "Plum Crazy" or "Plum Wild" and it would really fit either one. Good question Kevin. RandyA

When Phil bought it he told the guys he worked with that I told him he should buy a new truck and the VR is what he came home with. The name has stuck. yamadawg Posted September 18, 2009 Author Share #23 Posted September 18, 2009 Wow! Some really great names for your bikes. Some humourous, some touching, but all thoughtful. I hope to hear more! Well, it's almost time to finish packing and paddle the bike to Chattanooga for the Trail of Tears. :250:Nothing like a flood watch to make the ride exciting, huh? Please keep the names coming...
