I went to cancel the Light bar off of my Chrome Glow order and the guy steered me toward these Flexible Arrays with turn signals .

Seem pretty nice if you want Turn signals at the same time as brake lights.

Just some clarification. From the video looks like the running light is working w/ the turn signal and brake light on w/out turn signals going. Just making sure you can have the brake light on the same time when using turn signals.

I believe one of the photos shows, and has a caption that says, turn signal with brake light.

Yeah, right at the top bottom left photo. The sections are independent of each other so the brake will only light up the center 1/3 of the strip. Same for each of the turn signals.

The Chrome glow light bar

We just installed one on a friends 06 Venture. They look great but here are some of the problems we encountered.

1) we had to return the first one as the clear is really white and sticks out like a sore thumb on a dark bike plus the light was packaged wrong and we we afraid it might be damaged.

2) we received the red one. Everything looked fine so we unwrapped it. The end where the wires enter has a little cap on it with no two sided tape so we had to caulk it to keep it together. Doesn't look to good but you have to get close to see it.

3) you have to but an additional pig tail in order to have running, stopping and turn signals. reasonable but is an additional charge.

4) you have to drill a whole in your trunk.

5) IMHO way over priced for the quality you get. Great idea and looks great (especially from a few feet away).

I've seen a few of these and we may have gotten a couple of bad lights.:confused24:

Hmmmm......the wiring on my light bar (made by Innovative Products, same as the one sold by Chrome Glow) goes into the center of the back of the light, not at the end.

Why did you have to drill a hole in the trunk? I don't quite get that...did you mount in right on the trunk or under it? Mine is mounted between the helmet locks underneath the trunk. Ran my wiring over to the right side and along the inside of the trunk mounting rack brackets. No drilling required. :confused24:

Well I've never seen one mounted there. All the ones I've seen are run along the pin stripping tape on the trunk. What did you mount the light to? Or are we talking about the same light. The light I'm talking about comes in different lengths and if flexible and about 3/16" wide and very bright.:puzzled:

Ok, yea I have a similar one mounted in the same place. A friend of mine with an 05 Venture has the same one you have. He loves it. I think he has his wired with 3 running and brake lights and the two (4 light) turn signals. He added two round running lights to the antenna mounts because he said he wanted more running lights.:thumbsup2:
