communication head sets

I just bought a 1999 Venture and My wife and I wear shorty helments any recommendations on a brand to use.

We wear FF modular helmets with J & M comm sets that have the clamp on the helmet rim. they work fine for us. i have seen the less expensive ones, but have no experience with them.

I wear a "shorty" as well and have researched it some. What I have seen from others during different bike events are speakers that fit into the zip out "ear curtains." I saw some modified mounts to attach the mike to the shorty helmet.

 

I'll be curious to see what responses you get. I might look into this again.

IMC makes a "helmetless" headset that I bought since I wear a shorty helmet too. So far it works great.

Best price that I found was here... cyclemaxohio They sell Goldwing accy's. Our intercom system in a 5-pin just like the Wings.

Kevin (Waterbug) is this the same setup you have? Do you know if it is the same setup that Randy/Linda just bought too? They are on vacation or else I would ask them so I curious to know if you knew or not.
