kbran Posted September 14, 2009 #1 Posted September 14, 2009 Beth and I made it back from St. Jude trip about 2PM today. Except for the rainy ride home we had a great time. We camped for the first time since the kids were small at Arkabutla Lake near Tunica,Ms. Had a good turnout for St. Judes, Thanks Lewis for the effort you put into this for the kids. And it was great that Nancy (MeanDog wife) could make it. Here is a few pics, will post a link to the rest when loaded on photobucket. Oh and Boomer and krew, sorry we coudn't make it to the casino, had a rainstorm at the lake about the time we were supposed to leave so we stayed in LOL.
CMIKE Posted September 14, 2009 #2 Posted September 14, 2009 Very glad to meet you guys...thanks for coming...glad you are all safe at home.
Wrongway Posted September 14, 2009 #3 Posted September 14, 2009 Kenny, great to see you guys again and way too good to bring Nancy along. That was fantastic. We got home late last night. We had a great time there and got to meet more new friends. After leaving the group we went to Beale Street and partied there. Got to see our favorite bluesman, Victor Wainwright, and just had more fun than we deserved. Our first trip in our new to us 30 year old motorhome. Let's just say that Chevy Chase and Robin Williams had nothing on us. :rotfl:Friends and good deeds and good times more than made up for the craziness. See you guys soon!
DragonRider Posted September 14, 2009 #4 Posted September 14, 2009 It was great seeing you and Beth again, and you really made my day when you told me Nancy was coming. That was a great surprise, was great to see her, wish the turnout would have been more like last year, but it was still good. I really do plan on making it down your way, just have to find the time and somebody to do it with, mybe Jamie or Todd or both could make the trip with me, I have treated Jamie to a cajun style wedding when my son got married at Destrehan Plantation, but Todd needs to be introduced to some crayfish and crayfish pie, good boiled shrimp, not the crap they serve here. Thanks again for coming. Like I said we need a S. La. Rally.......you and BRScooter, and I can help if needed. You plan it, they will come.:dancefool:
