eazyduzzit Posted September 13, 2009 #1 Posted September 13, 2009 We didn't ride far, but it was nice with no vibration and first ride of any distance since Rick reworked my seat. We hit some fresh new blacktop and everything working together made it feel like we were floating instead of riding. Almost a religious experience.
Yammer Dan Posted September 13, 2009 #2 Posted September 13, 2009 I had a good one too!! "Ugly" was purring and those Jardines were sounding sweet! Couldn't find a thing to pick on!!
hunter 1500 Posted September 14, 2009 #3 Posted September 14, 2009 I had a nice ride today also. It was the first time I really got to ride any distance. Only about 175 miles but it was long enought to start getting used to this new bike. Stopped in Lake George and met a guy with an 04 venture there. He had it all decked out and it looked good. I talked with him for about an hour about bikes. He's got about 60k on it and hasn't had any trouble.
Freebird Posted September 14, 2009 #4 Posted September 14, 2009 Eileen and I actually got a few miles in today also. Left here about 11:00 and headed down to the area of Cambridge, OH. We wanted to ride through Salt Fork State Park just because we hadn't been through there before. Ended up riding about 265 miles and YES...we DID stop at the DQ for ice cream just before getting home.
BuckShot Posted September 14, 2009 #5 Posted September 14, 2009 Poor old lonesome me--I got to ride by myself today. Put on about 200 miles total. Ended up near Angola, Ind. and stopped by a friends for a couple of hours. The slow ride around a few lakes was nice.
