wow!!..... what a beautiful day we had. went through very scenic routes starting from caledonia, towards fort erie, then niagara falls,to niagara on the lake, where we had a real good lunch by the golf club located along the mouth of the niagara river where it runs into lake Ontario. i think everyone loved whatever they had ordered. didn't hear anyone complain about the food. not cheap by any standard, but food was done well and well served.

rode a bit more towards toronto through port dalhousie. rest of the guys rode quite a bit more i believe, going back towards caledonia via smaller roads, and then to their homes. hope all went well and everyone got home safe and sound.

me.....i couldn't take in any more excitement, so as soon as i saw the hwy (QEW) and the exit to toronto, i waved goodbye to all and headed home. did close to 500 kms in all. the others probably ended up doing quite a bit more.

we had a good turnout. 7 bikes in all. four 2nd generations, 1 first gen...one honda shadow, and a 'bandit'.

thanks all for coming out again and spending the day together.

the following showed up..

the hosts...Wayne and Robin

Steve ( THE COUNT) and Michele

John ( RELIC)and Dianne

Bob Green (GREENER)

Dave ( DOGMAN) and his friend Eric, on his Bandit.

and me..Abdul ( CHABICHEKA) on my Shadow.

wouldnt have missed this one for anything....yeah...my sons wedding can wait...:smile5:

Sorry couldn't make the ride as Unio meeting lasted past 12:00pm so only ridding I got in was from home to London and back. Great weather to ride anyways. Going to pick up boys new (to him 06Pontiac G6) car tomorrow. Hopefully will get out for a ride before I have to go to Midnights in October. Contract concessions were voted on and passed by 64%.

Like I mentioned to Wayne, I have ridden most of those roads at one time or another (some because I was lost) but the route that Wayne plotted to link them all together into a loop was a masterful job of ride planning. A job well done Wayne. Thanks!!!

Thanks Wayne and Robin for the route. Some new roads for us. And thanks to everyone else that showed as the company always make these rides better. Hope to see everyone again soon. Can't believe we forgot the camera.(yes I can)

Wayne, Do you know how many Golf courses there are down in that area ? We were all over looking around. We were in Fort Erie around 1, could not find you. Called the number that was on my phone but no one answered.

All not lost, we had a nice ride.

Sorry to hear that Brad.. Too bad you couldn't catch us. By 1:00 we were in Niagara on the Lake.. We had been in Ft Erie around noon or 11:45... Then we went along th e river and through Niagara Falls and stopped at the Whirlpool and on to NOL. After lunch we headed to Port Dalousie and then Effingham Road etc... Would have been nice to hook up. The "Golf Course" was at the Mouth of the Niagara River. You could see river and the American fort. Lots of sailboats on the water.. Beautiful.

Next time..

Wayne,

After getting home, was at total of 500 Km in total. What a fantastic run, great country side, and company by the group on the tour. Thank you for putting the day together. And ride back to Waterloo, along the might GRAND River, was a great end to a spectacular day.

Now, we have to figure out who "weatherman" is , and need to get him on the web site?

He brought out the fine summer weather yesterday.

Thanks

Steve and Michele
