fardnarger Posted September 13, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 13, 2009 We just got back from the Smoky Mountains. 1700+ miles round trip. We rode the Dragon 3 times, saw lots of deer and wild bear at Cade's Cove, rode practically every mountain road in the National Park and Foothills Parkway along with the Cherohala Skyway. We had a great trip other than my wife having a fender bender with a truck that stopped at a green light - she is ok but her bike has a few scuffs and scratches. It was absolutely beautiful country - we've seen it lots of times before but not from our bikes.

In July we are taking our annual trip with my best friend and his wife to that area. I will have to try and remember to hit you up for ideas closer to then. Yama Mama Posted September 14, 2009 Share #3 Posted September 14, 2009 Nice photos, glad you had a nice trip. Yes a bike is the only way to ride through the Smokies. It is truly a beautiful area. Yama Mama:thumbsup2:
