ignition Module

[Seaking]

After all the probs I had on the bike this summer with electricals on the engine, I opted to pick up a new ignition module (D3K) just for the peace of mind kinda thing..

 

Erhm can someone point out as to where this is located on the bike? None of the docs I have even mention it let alone say where it is..

Egads, who designed this bike, a yap slap up side the head for him.. wow. Install was easy enough but pulling the old one out was a bear of a job, wiring caught in front of the unit caused a lot of probs but I managed to slowly wriggle it out.. luckily the new one is slightly smaller and slipped in nice and easy..

 

set at 7250 rev limiter and curve 4.. Remember, it's just a peace of mind replacement of the old one after all the probs I encountered this summer.. keeping the old one as a 'spare'..

 

Now, synch the carbs and go test riding tonight.. I'll let you know how it goes.
