frankc Posted September 8, 2009 #1 Posted September 8, 2009 (edited) Good Morning Everyone, I would like to replace my stock passing light bulbs with a brighter halogen lamp. However i'm not interested in increasing the amount of wattage draw on the system. My question is, what lamp would you recommend for this application? I would like a nice wide pattern not a narrow beam. I was told the Silver Star would work, but I dont know which one to look for. I like the super bright white look compared to the yellow tungsten. Forgot to mention i have the sealed beam type ! Thank you in advance for your suggestions! Please ride safe Frank Edited September 8, 2009 by frankc

Look for 4440, 4460 H4460 or 4456 lamps in the online catalogs..... but they cost about $30 each........ Edited September 9, 2009 by KiteSquid
LilBeaver Posted September 8, 2009 #3 Posted September 8, 2009 I did not see the Wagner 4449 on the list. This is what I have in mine, I do not have the specs on it offhand but when I picked up my bike there was a Yamaha one in the left spot lamp and the 4449 in the right and I couldn't tell a difference between the two. I got them for 15 a piece. Great info though kite! Thanks
KiteSquid Posted September 9, 2009 #4 Posted September 9, 2009 I dont have hte specs on the 4449 lamp yet.... but I am working on it. Wagner has such poor web support......for thier lamps.
