Jethroish Posted September 7, 2009 #1 Posted September 7, 2009 2 weeks and one day after my horse riding (or falling off) accident in which I broke a rib, I took the bike an a 35 mile round trip ride to Meijer. It felt great to be on it. No problems with the exception of backing the bike up. Still not 100%, but getting better.
silverdeer0454 Posted September 7, 2009 #2 Posted September 7, 2009 Good to hear that you are recovering. Have you gained back the strength to toss flight progress strip?
Jethroish Posted September 7, 2009 Author #3 Posted September 7, 2009 Good to hear that you are recovering. Have you gained back the strength to toss flight progress strip? Don't need to. I just yell, "Hey newbie! Get me that d***ed strip!"
massey130 Posted September 7, 2009 #4 Posted September 7, 2009 it's good you're back up. i went for awhile without riding, but i was the bike being down, not me. it is good when all comes together. it reminds us not to take our RSV for granted.

Hummingbird Posted September 7, 2009 #6 Posted September 7, 2009 never had a broken bone but I understand broken ribs are at the top of the list for pain. Good to hear you're healing OK - and back to riding
