Starter question

OK, here goes my stupid question. On my '88 VR after riding when I turn the engine off you can hear the starter disengage. This sure does not seem right. Is this natural? If not what is going on, and how can I fix it?

Hi, the Starter Clutch needs to be replaced.

 

Search for this and you will find several Threads discussing this Issure. Worst part of the Job is removing the Flywheel. Other than this, it's just one or two Hours wrenching Time, depending how much refreshing Drinks you tend to have ... :D
