Camping at the Shades

Hey there campers, Cindi and I are heading to the Shades State Park in Indiana the weekend of Oct 16 - 18. There are a lot of sites open for that weekend if anyone from the IL/IN/MI/WI is interested. One caveat, while the sites are great, there is no electricity. There is a comfort station with a shower and flush toilets as well as numerous vault toilets that are always clean. We're going mainly for the hiking and the follow-up drinking, but for those who want to ride, there's a lot of real nice roads in the area. The covered bridge routes are available on a map in the area. Hope some of you can make it.

We're planning on going. There are some nice roads and covered bridges there. Since my knee is acting up won't be doing any hiking BUT I'll join you for that follow up drinking and a good campfire.
