Gary N. Posted September 3, 2009 #1 Posted September 3, 2009 It seems that a group of fellow VR members from Texas have seen fit to make me an honorary citizen of Texas. Now I not only have the key to the city of Athens TX, I also have an official Texas Passport. It came in the mail today. Guess this means they'll let me back whenever I want. Well that sure can't happen soon enough to suit me. Hope to make it back this winter for sure. Thanks Tom, Debbie and all the other fellow Texan VR members. See y'all soon eh!......now where did I put my 10 gallon hat???

Gray Ghost Posted September 4, 2009 #7 Posted September 4, 2009 Just remember the rule of thumb my Dad taught me, never order chicken fried steak north of the Red or east of the Sabine.
buddy Posted September 4, 2009 #8 Posted September 4, 2009 Just remember the rule of thumb my Dad taught me, never order chicken fried steak north of the Red or east of the Sabine. We do not serve Armadillo north of the Red thats why. Congratulations Gary I think:innocent:

Gambler Posted September 8, 2009 #10 Posted September 8, 2009 Dont go Gary , its a kidnapping plot in the makeing, they get you down there, then they take the passport & you cant come home to all the snow & ice & crappy weather we have all winter. RETHINKING, Gary go south , Give them the passport & tell them your staying, This will give me more people to visit when I get down there Gambler:banana:
Marcarl Posted September 8, 2009 #11 Posted September 8, 2009 So where is this place called Texas,,, seems a good place to avoid, if they have to send out keys and passports to get folks to come there.
Vance Posted September 8, 2009 #12 Posted September 8, 2009 So where is this place called Texas,,, Gary, don't tell him. Let's keep it our secret.
