Aussie Annie Posted September 1, 2009 #1 Posted September 1, 2009 My husband, Alan, is trying to re-build a 1982 Honda CB900 (Bol'D'Or) and the price of a head gasket is up at $AU200 Can anyone give us a web site, or contact where we might get it cheaper. He's about ready to with the way this re-build is going. Sometimes doing old bikes stops being fun:crying:

LilBeaver Posted September 1, 2009 #8 Posted September 1, 2009 Geeze, what a rip. We've got to have someone close to a retail store...
oldandcrotchety Posted September 1, 2009 #11 Posted September 1, 2009 You might also try CMSNL.COM. They have a huge supply of Japanese bike parts going all the way back to the '60s.
Bubber Posted September 1, 2009 #12 Posted September 1, 2009 Try Dennis Kirk 10 miles from me! Same place you got the handle bars from ain't it? Bubber aka Steve
Aussie Annie Posted September 2, 2009 Author #13 Posted September 2, 2009 Hey, oldandcrotchety and Bubber ................. will try both and let ya know ( BUMP)
Bob Myers Posted September 3, 2009 #14 Posted September 3, 2009 Try Dennis Kirk 10 miles from me! Same place you got the handle bars from ain't it? Bubber aka Steve Dennis Kirk/Parts Unlimited usually don't go back that far. Annie, get the dimension of package and I'll see what i can do for you. Remember what you paid for postage last month for the quick fist? Cheap, it was like $12 or 13 US, I would think this should fall into same area if it is not too large. Weight is not the issue
rod Posted September 3, 2009 #15 Posted September 3, 2009 I live in San Diego and will help if you need it. PM me I go to House of Motorcycles/bike bandit all the time. Rod
Aussie Annie Posted September 4, 2009 Author #16 Posted September 4, 2009 Thank you everyone - Bob, Rod, by the time we pay exchange rate and postage there wouldn't be a lot of difference. Alan has ordered one from over here Thanks for all offers of assistance:thumbsup2:
